We are proud to announce the participation of students from the International Higher School of Logistics (IHSL) in the national stage of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Olympiad, which took place on April 16, 2024, in the Kyrgyz Republic. This significant event brought together the best students from across the country, all eager to contribute to solving global problems and promoting sustainable development.

This year's Olympiad focused on discussing and addressing key issues related to water resources, climate change, and urban sustainability. The students demonstrated not only their knowledge and analytical skills but also their commitment to implementing innovative solutions that can make a positive impact on the world.

The Olympiad featured three main sections:

1. "Sustainable Urban Development: Rational Consumption, Innovation, and Infrastructure"

This section focused on developing strategies for sustainable urban development. Participants discussed methods for rational resource consumption, the implementation of innovations, and the development of modern infrastructure that supports ecological balance and improves the quality of life for urban residents.

2. "Integrated Management of Water and Land Resources"

In this section, students explored issues related to the management of water and land resources. Discussions included ways to improve the efficiency of resource use, prevent pollution and degradation, and implement technologies to ensure sustainable management and conservation of natural resources.

3. "Climate Change and Clean Energy"

This section was dedicated to climate change and the development of solutions for transitioning to clean energy. Participants discussed measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, adapt to changing climate conditions, and implement renewable energy sources. Innovative projects aimed at reducing environmental impact and transitioning to sustainable energy were proposed.

Students from IHSL actively participated in discussions and problem-solving, showcasing their deep knowledge and strong analytical skills. They presented their research and projects aimed at addressing current sustainability issues, which garnered interest and positive feedback from the jury and other participants.

Participating in the national stage of the SDG Olympiad was an important step in the professional and personal development of our students. They gained unique experience and new knowledge, while also establishing valuable connections with peers and experts in sustainable development.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Olympiad organizers for the high level of the event and the opportunity to participate. Special thanks to our students, who honorably represented the International Higher School of Logistics and made a significant contribution to the discussion of global issues.

We hope that participating in such events will become a regular practice for our students. It not only fosters their professional growth but also develops leadership qualities, critical thinking, and teamwork skills. We are confident that their contributions to solving sustainability issues will continue to grow and bring positive changes to society.

With pride and optimism, we look forward to the future and believe that students from the International Higher School of Logistics will continue to actively participate in scientific and practical events aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
