On January 10, 2026, students of Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov took part in the international educational and business simulation conference “Universal Initiative for Multidisciplinary Understanding and Networking (UNIMUN)”, which was held at Caspian University in Almaty.
The conference was organized by the UNIMUN Organizing Committee on the initiative of the youth diplomatic club “Unity”, in cooperation with Caspian University. It brought together school and university students from different countries with the aim of increasing interest in pressing global issues of the modern world.
Participants simulated the activities of leading international organizations, including the United Nations, the African Union, and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
Students of KSTU named after I. Razzakov acted as delegates of various countries, actively participating in committee sessions, discussions of the international agenda, drafting resolutions, and seeking effective solutions to global challenges.
Within the UN model, issues such as the regulation of artificial intelligence, international security, counterterrorism, trade restrictions, and the protection of human rights were addressed.
Participation in the conference allowed KSTU students to develop skills in international diplomacy, public speaking, analytical and critical thinking, as well as to deepen their understanding of the mechanisms of international organizations and global processes.
At the end of the event, students were awarded certificates and received delegate kits.
Such international conferences contribute to the professional and personal development of students, broaden their horizons, and strengthen academic and youth cooperation at the international level.
