On March 27, 2026, the XII International Student Tournament "LOGISTICS OPEN TOURNAMENT – 2026" was held at the Presidential Academy (RANEPA) in Moscow. The team from the International Higher School of Logistics (IHSLO) of KSTU named after I. Razzakov, led by the Deputy Director for Academic Affairs Nurzada Rakhatovna Toibaeva, won the prestigious 2nd place.
The tournament, conducted entirely in English, brought together 12 strongest teams from leading universities, including Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, RUT (MIIT), KNRTU-KAI, and SPbGASU.
Three Stages to the Podium
The competition program included complex challenges simulating real business processes:
- Welcome Stage: A creative presentation of the team.
- Case Solution: Defense of a business case solution developed by expert Anton Pirogov (NOYTECH Logistics Rus).
- Blitz Tournament: A live negotiation stage prepared by Anna Naumova (BEV LLC) and Dmitry Naidenov (NOYTECH Logistics Rus).
Our Awardees
The 3rd-year team "Tengri flow" represented IHSLO and KSTU on the international stage:
- Islam Nabiev
- Ulukbek Kaiypbekov
- Altynai Jusumambetova
- Tilek Raimbekov
- Chingiz Batyrkanov
Personal Recognition and Career Start
Special recognition was given to the team captain, Islam Nabiev. The jury highlighted his exceptional creativity, leadership qualities, and out-of-the-box approach to problem-solving. For his outstanding performance, he was awarded a special incentive prize from the tournament partners.
The ultimate achievement was the official invitation of the entire team for internships at major logistics holdings. Market leaders such as FM Logistic, FESCO, NOYTECH Logistics Rus, and RZD Business Active opened their doors to our students.
Notably, students can complete their internships in a flexible format — both online and offline, allowing them to combine international experience with their studies.
This success once again confirms the high level of training at IHSLO and the global competitiveness of our students.
Congratulations to team "Tengri flow", Islam Nabiev, and Nurzada Rakhatovna on this brilliant result!
