My name is Nurzhigit, I am 17 years old, and I am a first-year student at the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after Iskhak Razzakov. I study at the Faculty of Logistics. For me, choosing the logistics profession was not just a random decision, but a conscious step toward a future in which I want to realize my abilities, interests, and desire for growth.

At school, my favorite subjects were mathematics and physical education. I liked math for its logic and precision, and P.E. because of football — and football, in turn, is about team spirit and movement. In my opinion, these are the qualities a logistician should have. After all, logistics is not only about transport and warehouses but also about the ability to calculate, organize, and make decisions in real time.

After 9th grade, I enrolled in a college majoring in “Software for Computing Equipment and Automated Systems.” At that time, I thought IT was the perfect field for a career, since technology is developing rapidly. However, over time I realized that being a programmer is not really for me, because I am an extrovert. Even though I was interested in studying computers and technology, I felt that I lacked communication, dynamics, and hands-on activity. I understood that I wanted to do something more lively and diverse, where not only technology matters but also interaction with people.

After finishing college, I started thinking about my future and about who I wanted to become. I decided to talk it over with my parents, sister, and brother. After our conversations, I identified a few possible directions, and one of them was logistics. That’s how I first became interested in logistics. When I learned more about what a logistician does, I realized — this is exactly what suits me.

The modern world is impossible to imagine without logistics. Every product we see in a store goes through a long journey from the manufacturer to the customer. And it is logisticians who make this process accurate and uninterrupted. This profession is in demand all over the world, which means it offers broad opportunities for career growth, travel, and international cooperation.

For me, logistics is not just a profession but a path that brings together everything that resonates with me: precision, movement, communication, and growth. I believe I have chosen the right direction, and with each day of studying, I become more and more convinced of it.
